Annapurna conservation area planning

Annapurna conservation area planning(ACAP) is the company which is situated in west terai of Nepal.It is established for substainable development of annapurna area .This is 80km north from pokhara.It lures millions of tourists every year.Annapurna conservation area has been claimed as one of the best trekking areas in the world. It was established in 1986 under the his majesty's king Mahendra trust for natural conservation.The area spreads around kaski,mustang,manang & lumbini district of Nepal.The area has some of the world's highest peaks,world's deepest valley(kali gandaki river valley),the largest protected area of Nepal(7629 sq.km) & the most famous trekking destination of Nepal.The area ranges from 790 metres to 8091 metres.The functions of this area are:The functions of this area are:Agriculture training,Improvement of schools,colleges & health center,Training to tourists guide and nature researchers, Forest management training,Afforestation,Market management training,Providing education related with health,nutrition & family planning.ACAP is famous all over the world.The nunbers of tourist visiting this area is increases day by day.In fiscal year 2008/09,total number of tourists visiting this area is 79,966 whereas total number of tourists visiting this area in fiscal year 2007/08 is 75,925.According to ACAP,the number of tourists visiting this area from SAARC is 7,901 & from other countries is 72,065 in 2008/09.ACAP earned 14 crores 44 lakhs 47 thousand & six hundred last year.From the currency earned from tourists,ACAP conserve natural resource , improve the living standard of local area .ACAP also tries to increase number of tourists for Nepal tourism year 2011.The tourists from UK,ISRAEL,SRILANKA,CHINA,GERMANY ,USA,FRANCE,JAPAN,AUSTRALIA & from other's countries come to visit this area.ACAP takes Rs.200 for SAARC countries tourists & takes Rs.2000 for other's countries tourists to enter into this area.So,by knowing about this area ,the nature lovers tourists can easily say that it is a best site in the world.
