BANDIPUR

Nepal is a attractive country. It is known as tourists entertainment place.
As others countries in the world,Nepal has also a popular tourist area.
Bandipur is one of the famous tourists site. The main reason of luring tourists
towards bandipur is its scenic beauty.
Bandipur is a semi-urban town in the Nepalese Himalayas . It is a medieval town lying on the stretch of the mountain and situated halfway between Kathmandu , the capital city and Pokhara , another famous tourist attraction of kingdom of Nepal.
Bandipur is a modern day town with its old antique cultural atmospBandipur. It lies in Tanahu District , Gandaki Zone in the Mahabharata range at an altitude of 1030 m. It is 143 k.m to the west from Kathmandu and 80 k.m to the south of Pokhara , 62 k.m to the north of Narayanghat and 8 k.m from Prithivi Highway's Dumre Bazaarhere still intact. Bandipur is situated at 27.93 N, 84.42 E, some 1030 m (3500 ft) above sea level, and overlooks the Marsyangdi River Valley.
Bandipur, an ancient Newari mountain town, is a treasure waiting to be discovered by travellers. Situated 7k.m. above Dumbre Bazaar at an altitude of 1,005 meters, this ancient trading post lies cradled in the saddle of some of the country's most peculiar-shaped hills. Untouched by modernization, and laced with an abundance of ancient houses, temples of great significance, and historical architecture, this medieval-era town boast festivals all year around, besides plethora of cultural offerings. Neighboring Magar, Gurung, Bahun, Chhetri, Damai and Sarki villages all contribute to the cultural diversity of the region. The hilltop town not only overlooks the incredible expanse of the Marsyangdi river valley, but also offers a breathtaking sweep of the Himalayan range, from Langtang in the east to Dhaulagiri in the west. From nearby hilltops, one can see as far as Manakamana and Gorkha to east the great Chitwan plains to the south, among Marathon. Once a bustling commercial center along the trade route linking Tibet with British welcome travellers from near and far. From a major trade center in the early 1950, Bandipur is now establishing its identity as a new tourist destination.
Bandipur attracts many tourists from all over the world.Government of Nepal has earned more foreign foreign currency from this place.
Its medium elevation, excellent view of the Himalayas (Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh, Langtang Himal, the Marsyangdi Valley, Mount Manakamana and Gorkha with its high perching palace), relatively easy accessibility and, of course, old Newari town flair, make Bandipur an interesting tourist site from which a few guesthouses and a hotel at the northern end of the Tundikhel try to benefit. It may well be that the seclusion of Bandipur saved the Newari architecture of its buildings which otherwise would have been replaced by faceless modern types found in many other towns of Nepal. The and various Newari and Magar festivals, which until recently have been held for own purposes several times a year, can also be of interest to tourists.Bandipur was established as a funnelling point of trade by Newar traders from Bhaktapur in the Kathmandu valley after it had been conquered in 1768 by Prithvi Narayan Shah. They took advantage of its malaria free location to develop it into an important stop along the India-Tibet trade route. With them they brought their cultural heritage and architecture which basically has remained unchanged to this day.

So by having information about bandipur of Nepal, every nature viewers can easily say that it is world's best place.
